TECH INSPECTION: Conveniently located on the way to the starting line North of the stadium along Sportsman Center Drive directly across from the gas station. To get there proceed North along the way you came in on the marked corridor that parallels Sportsman Center Drive. There will be signage to direct you. CAUTION: There will be two way traffic in this corridor. STARTING LINE: Please plan on being at the start early to avoid delays and missing your start. The start is on Adelanto Rd Northeast of the Stadium heading south. To get there proceed North along the way you came in on the marked corridor that parallels Sportsman Center Drive, past Tech Inspection and hang a right (East). There will be signage to direct you. CAUTION: There will be two way traffic in this corridor. SCORING TOWERS: There will be a scoring tower located at the start line that you must ride through so that you are accounted for in the race results. There will be a finishing scoring tower/lap counter that you must slow down for during your race in order to be scored correctly. There will be hay bales places to ensure that you slow down enough to be scored.
THE COURSE: The 2016 course is between 8.5 to 9 miles long depending on whether you take the BYPASS routes for the stadium Enduro section and water jump. Please obey all course workers at all times and watch for appropriate signage. BYPASS ROUTES: There are two BYPASS routes. They will be marked by appropriate signage. Keep in mind that although easier the course will be always be faster than taking a BYPASS. The first one is for the Stadium Enduro section. To take the bypass, instead of turning right to drop into the stadium you will be turning left for an additional desert section before you drop into the stadium and head around the warning track through the stadium. The second BYPASS is for the water jump. It will be located on your left as you approach the jump and will have a chicane entrance to slow you down as you navigate a series of DEEP whoops. These are not bike made whoops that you can simply pin it over so CAUTION is advised. Watch for signage as you approach either BYPASS route to direct you along with SO CAL M/C personnel.
THE PITS: For the Quad Pro (1 hour + 1 lap) & WCPG PRO/EXP/INT (1.5 hours + 1 lap) races you may pit in the designated area next to Adelanto Rd directly East of the stadium. Maximum pit speed is 15 MPH. THE FINISH: No matter where you are parked there is only one way back to camp and that is North in the corridor that parallels Adelanto Rd where it will then join up to proceed BACK along the corridor to the start line where you went to start the race. CAUTION: There will be two way traffic in this corridor so pay attention. If you break down pull your vehicle to the side of the course and wait for sweep to come through.
